Be mindful of your thoughts.
Be aware of how your thoughts make you feel.
Sit with this whenever you are having a difficult time controlling your thoughts, when they are erratic and untethered.
Move into a space of ‘feeling’ instead of ‘thinking’. Feel yourself drop into that heart space. Feel your body, inside and outside. Feel as if you are immersed in water, how does that ‘water’ feel? the water is energy. You feel energy in the same way in which you would feel water.
Keep moving into feeling. You will be pulled back constantly into your thoughts but persevere. You will find this becomes easier and as your awareness of your thoughts increases so will your choice of thoughts. You will find they are clearer, healthier and more aligned to you feeling good.
And from there your life will follow suit.
The more you practice this, the better your brain receptors will reinforce these new neural pathways, like working out at the gym.
